Our Team

Graham joined Grace Church as assistant pastor in 2009. After graduating from the University of Nottingham, he taught English as a Second Language in South Korea for a few years, before returning to the UK to train for pastoral ministry. After gaining experience in a church in Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent, he studied at Union School of Theology in Wales, where he met his wife, Jihye. Before coming to Brentwood, Graham had spent several years pastoring a multi-national English language congregation in Cheongju, South Korea, while also being involved in online teaching and evangelism work with Ligonier Ministries. Graham is originally from Bury, Lancashire, though it's hard to tell from his accent, which is a strange mix of all the places he's lived in. When not at work, he's often to be found walking, reading, or making and drawing things.

As a Mum of two grown children, Eve is enjoying a new quieter phase of life which currently involves cats, crochet, and wild swimming. She can usually be found on a weekend down at the shore swimming with a group of like-minded people – all year round.

Born in Bristol and moved to Brentwood when he was 6. He left school and studied at the School of Architecture in Birmingham where he met Jackie, his wife. They set up home north of Birmingham and had 2 daughters, Vicky and Rachel and came back to Brentwood when Rachel was just 6 weeks old.
